Chamomile can cause allergic reactions to some people when eaten or contacted. The common allergic reactions are such as skin rashes, breath shortage, swelling throat, and anaphylaxis, of which all can be harmful to your life. The allergic reactions tend to happen to those who are also allergic to the daisy family plants (the daisies, chrysanthemums, marigolds, and so on). However, consuming Chamomile tea is generally safe and though allergic cases are also found at times.
Thus, for those who are pregnant, taking other medications, drugs, or prescriptions, or tend to have allergic to certain kinds of plants, it is always better to take preventive action by consulting the doctor or therapist before taking any herbs including the Chamomile.
